The Holdrege Development Corporation would like the public to know that preparation has begun on the Prairie View Addition. Currently, Ostgren Construction Co. is doing the site grading prior to the installation of streets and utilities for the residential lots. The housing subdivision will have 21 lots with an average size of 100’ x 120’. The estimated cost for the infrastructure in this project is expected to be $877,000. The City will extend Pamela Avenue and East Street to accommodate the Prairie View Addition development.

Holdrege needs quality housing in order to attract new workers and their families to Holdrege. The Holdrege Development Corporation (HDC) with the help of many generous and visionary individuals and organizations is making the availability of affordable housing a reality in this community. Although the sale of the homes is expected to cover the cost of their construction, HDC continues to receive generous community support from investors to begin construction immediately. In the past, we were able to complete construction of three spec homes through the generous support of the following individuals and businesses:

We have just purchased 1007 Burlington Property.  Development will have workforce rental housing through the WFI Grant (Workforce Initiative Grant)
